Our Watergrom Summer Camps offer a unique, dynamic waterman environment to give active kids from age 7-12 the opportunity to master the physical, the technical and the mental skills of paddle sports and swimming.  While spending time at the beach with like-minded little humans and having tons of fun, participants improve skills as well as learning the fundamentals of water safety and the importance of protecting the environment.

Also, with this unforgettable session, our watergroms will make friends with a tribe of like-minded kids, build confidence and bravery while gaining paddling skills and boost their swimming ability. They will also develop water-safety knowledge while getting stronger and fitter and learning about protecting the environment.

JUNIOR WATERMAN CAMP INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:

  • 4 days of pure fun on and off the water

  • SUP board and paddle

  • Outrigger Canoe and paddle

  • Prone paddleboard

  • Surfski Kayak and paddle

  • UC Davis environmental education

  • Snack

  • PFD’s (personal floating device)

  • Coaching and mentoring

  • Entry to Tahoe Waterman Paddle Racing Series

  • Wetsuits and water shirts

DAILY CURRICULUM 

  • Hours: Mon-Thurs, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

  • Meet and greet

  • Daily warm-up

  • Daily sessions, outrigger paddling, stand-up paddleboarding, prone paddleboarding, surfski paddling, swimming, water safety, SUP yoga, team building activities, games, and environmental education.
